Camera Shy

I've been remiss in updating my blog. Here are a few pictures to tide you over.

Vanessa smiles on a more regular basis now. She will return your smile if she's in a good mood. We're most successful first thing in the morning. She takes after her dad in that way. Taking a picture of her smiling is tricky. The second you pull out the camera she becomes interested in it and no longer smiles.

Pretty Pink Dress

Vanessa is all dressed up in an outfit that Grandma Jo-Anne bought for her. Today she will be meeting her great-grandfather. Everyone is very excited. With the humidex it's going to be 30 Celcius. That's why the sleevless dress.

What a cute family!

I have come to the realization that most babies are very similar. Here's a picture of Vanessa and below pictures of Eric and I. Eric's the one with the dress the same age as Vanessa and I'm a little older lifting my head. We can safely say that Eric is Vanessa's Daddy but when I look at Vanessa I can see myself. I flash back to the picture with the camera case on my head. (maybe grandma will scan it for us). I put these pictures up for everyone to weigh in. There's no right answer except that Vanessa couldn't be cuter. (I'm so biased)

First Playdate

Just a quick post. These are some of the superb pictures Eric took at Laurel's the other day. There are many great pics of the kids but the adults didn't photograph so well. :-(
I had a great time. I can't wait to see Vanessa interact with others her age.
